Introduction:
UBC’s International Scholars Program provides four distinct categories of esteemed awards, combining financial need and merit for international scholars:
- Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award acknowledges outstanding potential in prospective international undergraduates, showcasing not only superior academic prowess but also exemplary leadership qualities fostering collaboration, empathy, and active listening.
- Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award recognizes exceptional international undergraduates from impoverished or war-torn regions who have excelled academically under challenging circumstances.
