Padua Global Excellence Scholarship Initiative

Introduction:
The University of Padua extends its support to exceptionally gifted prospective scholars aspiring to undertake a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, conducted entirely in English within the historic city of Padua.

Scholarship Value:
The scholarship encompasses a living allowance of €8,000 and a waiver of tuition fees. The only financial commitment required from successful candidates annually includes an admission fee, covering the regional tax and “marca da bollo.” The scholarship spans a maximum period of two uninterrupted years for Master’s degree candidates and three continuous years for Bachelor’s and Single Cycle degree candidates.
Furthermore, the University of Padua’s departments extend partial scholarships, excluding tuition fee waivers. Eligibility:
To qualify, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Lack Italian citizenship (excluding dual citizenship involving Italian citizenship).
  • Possess a non-Italian secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s or Single Cycle degree aspirants) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degree candidates), meeting the criteria for admission into the Italian University system.
  • Reside outside of Italy.
  • Submit applications for one or more English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua, adhering to stipulated procedures and deadlines. A candidate may apply for a maximum of three degree programs.
    Application Guidelines:
    Applications are presently closed.
    Prospective candidates automatically become part of the selection process upon meeting the aforementioned eligibility criteria. No separate application or additional documents are required, beyond those mandated for the selected degree program. Deadlines vary depending on the program, either on 10th March 2023 or 12th April 2023. For unlimited access degree programs with no scholarships awarded in the initial application period, the second deadline is on 9th July 2023.
