Eligibility:
This scholarship’s conferral hinges on successful entry into an AUT program, spanning a duration of at least 120 points, excluding Study Abroad and GIE programs.
Applicants must be international scholars responsible for full-fee payments, i.e., non-citizens, non-permanent residents, or non-resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia, or individuals in the process of applying for the aforementioned categories. A valid conditional or unconditional offer to pursue an AUT program (Undergraduate level or beyond, excluding doctoral studies, and comprising at least 120 points) is a prerequisite. A GPA equivalent to 6.0 out of 9.0 (B+ average) or higher in the most recent qualification/program is also mandatory.
Scholarship allocation centers on academic excellence, excluding returning AUT scholars (excluding AUT International House GIE English pathway programs). Selection criteria include demonstrated academic prowess, and the applicant’s country of origin may be weighed by the committee in alignment with AUT’s strategic objectives. Applicants with other granted scholarships, both internal (awarded by AUT) and external (e.g., governmental scholarships), will undergo individual consideration.
