Taiwan International Higher Learning Scholarship Initiative

Introduction:
The TaiwanICDF’s International Higher Education Scholarship Initiative seeks to contribute to the sustainable progress of partner developing nations through education. It extends scholarships for advanced education, offering comprehensive undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in collaboration with esteemed partner universities in Taiwan.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions:
The TaiwanICDF furnishes each awardee with a complete scholarship encompassing return airfare, accommodation, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook expenses, and a monthly stipend (NT$12,000/month for undergraduates, NT$15,000/month for masters, and NT$17,000/month for Ph.D.).


Eligibility:

  1. Must be a citizen of a nation on the List of Countries Eligible for TaiwanICDF Scholarship, and fulfill any specific criteria set by their country and/or government of citizenship.
  2. Must not be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or an overseas compatriot student.
  3. Must meet the admission prerequisites of the partner university they applied to study under a TaiwanICDF scholarship.
  4. Must be able to fulfill all requirements for a Resident Visa.

    Application Instructions:
    Submissions are presently not being accepted.
    Applicants need to finalize their application via the online application system and subsequently submit a signed, printed copy along with all other application documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/Representative Office situated in their country.
    Alongside the documents requested as part of their scholarship application, applicants must also provide all documents required by the TaiwanICDF partner schools they are applying to before the university’s admissions deadline.
    The yearly application period typically spans from 1st January to 15th March (for the 2023 Scholarship programs, the application period is from 1st January to 15th March 2023).
