The University of Padua extends scholarships to exceptionally gifted prospective students aspiring to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree conducted entirely in English within the city of Padua.

Scholarship worth:
The scholarship encompasses a subsistence allowance of €8,000 and an exemption from tuition fees. The only financial obligation for successful candidates in each year includes an admission fee, aligning with the regional tax and “marca da bollo.” The scholarship spans a maximum of 2 uninterrupted years for Master’s degree candidates or 3 uninterrupted years for Bachelor’s and Single Cycle degree candidates.
Departments of the University of Padua also extend partial scholarships; however, these do not cover tuition fee waivers. Eligibility:
To qualify, you must adhere to the following criteria:
- Do not possess Italian citizenship (excluding dual citizenship with Italian)
- Possess a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s or Single Cycle degree applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degree applicants), enabling admission to the Italian University system
- Do not reside in Italy
- Apply for one or more English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua, following the stipulated procedures and within the designated deadlines. Applicants can apply for up to 3 degree programs.

Eligible candidates will automatically be considered for the selection process, and there is no need for a separate application or additional documents, apart from those required for the selected degree program. Deadlines vary depending on the program, either 10th March 2023 or 12th April 2023. For unlimited access degree programs without awarded scholarships in the initial application period, the second deadline is 9th July 2023.
